Angela was born in Cali, Colombia, and moved to the United States four years ago. Her educational background includes concentrations in modern languages (English and French), business management, and marketing and sales.
Angela began her professional career working in Colombian non-profit organizations, where she learned from and collaborated with a multicultural group of colleagues to fight hunger in the community. That experience shaped Angela’s worldview, and she sought to make a difference by bringing people together. As a teacher, translator and interpreter, Angela has made meaningful connections between cultures. Her teaching leverages her natural enthusiasm, resourcefulness and creativity to help students understand Spanish and the people who speak it. Angela loves sharing her Cultura Latina everywhere she goes. Angela is excited to join the dynamic St. Peter’s team and to help create an enriching experience for her students.
