At this age, students are rapidly grasping language and number concepts. They are animated little beings of unrestrained curiosity, and their excitement is infectious.”

She taught first grade at Normal Park Museum Magnet School and was a reading specialist at Calvin Donaldson Environmental Science School. Prior to teaching, Angie worked as a nutrition interventionist at the Dodson Avenue Community Health Center.
