Christy began working at St. Peter’s as a substitute teacher. But when the opportunity to work along side her college roommate and best friend as an assistant teacher in the kindergarten classroom presented, she knew that she and Shelly would be amazing educational partners. She served as a teacher in Kindergarten as well as in the library. This experience helped to prepare Christy for the leadership role of Director of Library and Technology.
Christy has a distinctive bond with faculty and parents that benefits students. She shares the same professional and personal values, and enjoys collaborating so that children connect what they are learning in the classroom with research and technology used within the library setting. Christy emphasizes the she "believes each student is an intelligent person with unique gifts and talents. I enjoy providing a space in which they can explore and expand upon those gifts and interests.”
Christy and her husband, Greg, are proud parents of two daughters Riley and Ally, both graduates of St. Peter's School.
