Margarita never meets a stranger because Margarita is a Chattanooga original who has deep roots in the community. As school’s office manager and registrar, she is deeply connected to current families, faculty, alumni, and prospective parents. She is the person who usually knows the answer to the question, or she knows who can answer the question. Without doubt, Margarita is heartbeat of the administrative operation at St. Peter’s.
Fueled by the rich traditions of her Greek and Spanish heritage, Margarita’s personality percolates across the school campus. Her gracious and hospitable style is infectious and defines the professional expectations for her colleagues. The warmth and generosity of her spirit is truly an extension of the St. Peter’s mission.
Margarita is a passionate, renaissance woman. She is a design maven, who ensures special events are indeed special. Musically gifted, she often shares her beautiful voice to enhance a chapel service. An admirer of beautiful papers and elegant stationery, Margarita describes herself as “old fashioned,” noting that she would never go anywhere empty-handed.
When she is not working at St. Peter’s (which is rare), Margarita enjoys cooking and spending time with her family. She and her husband, Scott, are proud parents of a daughter, Caroline, a St. Peter’s graduate, and a son, Christopher, a current St. Peter’s student.
